El documental más personal de Bon Jovi
Ya está disponible el primer tráiler de 'Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story', la serie documental de cuatro partes dedicada a la emblemática banda de Nueva Jersey. (vía Louder Sound)
Según HULU, donde se estrenará, la serie contará la historia de “el épico pasado y el incierto futuro de una de las bandas más reconocidas del mundo y de su frontman Jon Bon Jovi", y promete no callarse sobre ningún tema polémico abordando los bien documentados problemas del cantante con su voz en los últimos años. Como la misma banda afirma, esta historia es "una odisea de 40 años de idolatría del rock and roll en el precipicio mientras una lesión vocal amenaza con mandarlo todo al traste".
'Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story' ha sido dirigida y producida por Gotham Chopra, que ha trabajo en cintas de estrellas del baloncesto como Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Stephen Curry o Russell Westbrook, además de haber contado la historia de la leyenda de la NFL Tom Brady, así como dirigido una docuserie sobre el rapero Wiz Khalifa.
Como no podía ser de otra manera, este documental contará con entrevistas con miembros actuales de Bon Jovi como Jon Bon Jovi, Tico Torres, David Bryan y Phil X, así como con su ex guitarrista Richie Sambora y su vecino de Nueva Jersey Bruce Springsteen. La serie estará disponible a través de Hulu en Norteamérica a partir del 26 de abril, así como en Star+ en Latinoamérica y en Disney+ en el resto de países.
De esta forma Jon Bon Jovi se abre al mundo mostrando sus momentos más vulnerables. Cuatro décadas de videos personales, demos inéditas, letras originales y fotografías nunca antes vistas que recorren el viaje desde sus inicios en los clubes de la ciudad que los vio nacer, Nueva Jersey, hasta los escenarios mas grandes del mundo. Veremos triunfos, contratiempos, grandes éxitos y decepciones y los momentos públicos de máxima tensión que ha vivido la banda en todo su recorrido.
