Fall Out Boy actualiza la letra del “We Didn't Start the Fire” de Billie Joel: esta es la comparativa

Fall Out Boy ha publicado su versión del clásico “We Didn't Start the Fire” de Billy Joel pero con un giro de lo más interesante: han actualizado la letra del tema con eventos e ideas del 2023 en lugar de las de la letra de 1989. (vía Loudwire)

"We Didn't Start the Fire" se publicó originalmente en 1989 y aparece en el undécimo álbum de estudio de Joel, 'Storm Front'. El tema detalla 118 acontecimientos importantes que habían tenido lugar en la vida del músico desde su nacimiento en 1949 hasta la fecha de lanzamiento.

A su vez, Fall Out Boy ofrecen un sucesor natural de la canción, mencionando acontecimientos sociales, culturales y políticos memorables, así como celebridades de todo tipo (Hollywood, deportes, realeza, política, magnates de los negocios, etc.) para crear una guía de tres minutos y medio de los grandes acontecimientos de la actualidad, tanto los buenos como los malos.
